Reports Revamp: Redesign to Enhance the Consultation Experience

At Nesplora, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of neuropsychological assessment. Our latest innovation comes in the form of redesigned Nesplora reports, that we have developed between 2023 and 2024, encompassing all languages and products. These enhancements not only provide a more comprehensive information but also streamline the consultation process, offering clinicians more precise and exhaustive insights into cognitive functioning. In this article, we compile all the new report videos along with brief explanations and download links for accessing the sample reports.

Aula: A New Design For Better Consultation

Nesplora Attention Kids Aula (commonly referred to as «Aula») was the first test for which we undertook a report redesign. Aula serves as our flagship product worldwide, and we are committed to ongoing enhancements aimed at enhancing the experience for both patients and professionals alike. During this time, since it has been available, one of the most acclaimed features of Aula is its motor activity monitoring, highlighted with an infographic within the report. Additionally, professionals find it highly valuable to have both an overview of the results and a breakdown per variable, providing detailed information in each instance. In this brief video, we comprehensively review the new report page by page, outlining its contents and optimal clinical application.

🔵 Since September 2023, this updated version of Aula’s report for attention assessment has become the default option. Subsequently, every report downloaded, whether from new or previous assessments, includes this template and information.

Aquarium: Updated Design of the Report Since October 2023

After each evaluation with Aquarium, as with all our tests, an automatic report is generated that compiles essential information for the professional team. Aquarium, one of our most widely used products, is designed to assess attention in adults aged 16 and above. The report now features enhanced formatting for easier reading and consistency across all tests, including detailed insights into attention, vigilance, working memory, and more. In this short video we go through all aspects of the report, page by page.

Ice Cream: How the New Design Stacks Up Against the Old One

Ice Cream is our test focused on assessing executive functioning. Due to the complexity of this topic, this report strives to be exceptionally clear, providing a comprehensive overview of all assessed variables while ensuring detailed insights into each aspect of executive functions. This guiding principle was central throughout the redesign process, aimed at improving readability and usability. In this case, the video showcases a comparison between two options: the one available until the revamp, and the new enhanced report featuring a new template, a more intuitive interface, and improved graphics. This way, it becomes evident how the redesign enhances the consultation experience.

Suite: Report Makeover For a Better Look

At this stage, we assume familiarity with our objective behind this redesign. As outlined above and demonstrated in the videos, our focus remains on enhancing the consultation experience through intuitive design. Specifically for memory assessment, which involves comparing multiple variables, our redesign prioritised providing both comparative and detailed information on each variable. We are pleased to have received positive feedback from a respected colleague regarding the «total execution table,» which serves as a valuable tool for efficiently and effectively explaining performance to patients. Please watch the short video below, demonstrating the new redesigned report page by page.
